A charity is holding a pamper day to raise funds to support families who are affected by the loss of a child.

Eden’s Trust was set up by Barkingside mum, Elli Galvani, after her six-year-old daughter died in a tragic accident on holiday.

The organisation holds counseling sessions, bereavement groups for parents and drop-in support groups for siblings in Wanstead.

All of the sessions are free and are funded by Zumba classes and charity days.

On Saturday, November 4, residents will be able to beautify and relax for a good cause at The Jack Carter Centre, The Drive, Ilford.

For a little as £5 a treatment, professionals will be on hand to give massages, manicures, and waxing between 12 and 5pm.

Linda Pearson of Eden’s Trust said: “We are raising funds to provide a network of support groups for bereaved parents and siblings.

“Why not come and pamper yourself with beauty treatments including eyebrow shaping, massage, reflexology, and reiki.”

The event will also feature raffles, food and drink stalls and Creation Station will be on hand to entertain children whilst parents are having treatments.
