A Chadwell Heath church will celebrate its 50th anniversary this weekend with a special concert by The City Wind Orchestra.
St Bede’s Catholic Church, Bishop’s Avenue, will kick off its golden jubilee celebrations today (Thursday) with a mass at 7.30pm followed with a concert by the London-based band on Sunday at the same time.
The City Wind Orchestra was set up in 2009 to provide an opportunity for anyone with an interest in woodwind, brass and percussion to play in their spare time.
Everyone is welcome and admission is free of charge.
