An expert historian from The British Museum is visiting Woodford Green to talk about Roman finance.
Amelia Dowler, who is responsible for all the Greek and Roman provincial coins in the world-famous museum, will be speaking at a meeting of the West Essex Archaeological Group at Woodford County High School, High Road, on December 10.
Domestic Finance in Roman Britain begins at 7.45pm. Entry free.
The West Essex Archaeological Group carries out excavations in Redbridge, Havering and Essex, and holds historical lectures and events.
