Britian’s Got Talent singing sensation Jonathan Antoine has switched on the Christmas lights in Barkingside this evening.

The classical singer, who together with Charlotte Jaconelli claimed the runner-up in ITV1’s talent content, was outside Fullwell Cross Library in High Street.

His appearance had been shrouded in secrecy for crowd control reasons.

Barkingside Traders’ Association has been involved in organising the switch-on, and live reindeer are in Barkingside for the festive bash.
