Brilliant bagels and delightful doughnuts were served up to more than 3,000 people to raise money for a Jewish charity.
The bake off was held at the Redbridge Jewish Community Centre, Woodford Bridge Road, Redbridge, for children aged under seven.
The fruits of their labour were then devoured in a tea party for the older members of the centre with many cakes and tasty treats gobbled up β all for a good cause.
Over at Vi & John Rubens House, Clarence Avenue, Gants Hill, children from Ilford Jewish Primary School, Carlton Drive, Barkingside visited to keep residents company and have a cake.
Daniel Carmel-Brown, from Jewish Care, said: βAn astonishing number of people agreed to get involved. This is true community fundraising.β
