A man was found hanged this morning in South Park, Ilford.
Police confirmed that the body was found at 6.30am today and the coroner was at the scene from midday.
Two ambulances were called shortly after the park opened but he was already dead at the scene. It is not yet known how long the man had been there for.
The news comes after police confirmed the death of a woman in her 40s who collided with a train at Ilford Station at about 7.30pm yesterday.
