THE MAYOR of London, Boris Johnson is in South Woodford this morning helping to plant more than 10,000 trees.
Mr Johnson will be joined by Redbridge Mayor Cllr Jim O’Shea and more than 100 volunteers for the event at Roding Valley Park.
The mass planting has been organised by charity Trees for Cities and is part of a campaign called RE:LEAF London aimed at increasing the number of trees in the capital.
