The Rotary Club of Redbridge raised £8,500 for charity with a Bollywood night last week.

More than 300 Rotarians and their friends and family enjoyed an Indian meal before partying the night away at Roding Valley High School, in Alderton Hill, Loughton.

A Bhangra group provided dance music and later, an Elvis impersonator sang some of the king of rock’s most famous tunes.

Money was raised with a raffle organised by Amar Singh with prizes from local businesses.
