Body of Redbridge actor who had role in Casino Royale recovered from cliffs

The body of an actor from Redbridge who went missing a week ago has been found at cliffs in Sussex.
Paul Bhattacharjee, 53, was last seen on Wednesday, July 10 when he left the Royal Court Theatre, Slone Square where he was appearing on stage. He left at about 6.15pm.
He was caught on CCTV walking from the stage door, along the alleyway before turning left in the direction of Sloane Square Tube station.
Mr Bhattacharjee, who sometimes goes by the first name of Gautam, then sent a text message to his girlfriend at about 9pm.
This morning Sussex Police contacted the Met Police to say the body of a man matching Mr Bhattacharjee’s description had been recovered from cliffs at Splash Point in Seaford, East Sussex on Friday.
This afternoon the body was identified in Sussex as that of Mr Bhattacharjee.
Next of kin have been informed and his death is being treated as non-suspicious.
The actor had been been in a number of television and stage productions as well as films including Casino Royale, Dirty Pretty Things and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
