A body has been found in Wanstead.
Two young boys made the grim discovery in an area of woods at Hermon Hill, near the junction of High Street, yesterday.
A Redbridge police spokesman said efforts to formally identify the person are ongoing.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out tomorrow at East Ham Mortuary.
