The Beal 14-19 Business Innovation Hub (BBIH) at Beal High School, Woodford Bridge Road, Redbridge, was declared open on Monday at a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The school plans to offer young people access to vocational courses, with subjects such as catering, fashion design and accountancy available at the new facility.

Headteacher Tessa Canaii said: “It has a business focus that enables students to access occupational qualifications alongside traditional qualifications.

“Each pathway is personalised to meet individual student needs to achieve their success.”
