Author Adele Parks will talk Spare Brides in Wanstead

A bestselling author famous for her “chick-lit” novels is coming to Redbridge.

Adele Parks will deliver a talk on her latest book Spare Brides, which examines the stories of four women all living in Britain after the First World War.

The event will take place on April 1 in Wanstead Library, Spratt Hall Road, as part of Cityread London, a scheme to encourage more people to pick up a book.

It will run from 7-8pm.

For more information or to book your place, call the library on 020 8708 7400.
