Assaults and binge-drinking incidents were responsible for the majority of ambulance calls-out in Bexley in the 12 months to June, new figures have revealed.
Longlands ward had the highest number of emergency worker calls-out in the borough, with 2,905 calls, data recorded by the London Ambulance Service has shown.
Other high scorers include Christchurch, with 1,848 call-outs, and Erith, with 1,835.
The figures are for the period from July 2012 to June 2013.
The wards with the lowest amount were St Michael’s (824), Brendon and Penhill (825) and Blackfen and Camorbey (841).
Ambulance crews were called out to 556 assaults, 188 of which were on women.
The ward with the highest number of assault call-outs was Erith with 53
There were 445 binge drinking incidents and 83 assaults on teenagers.
Paramedics were also called to 14 knife injuries, and there were no call-outs for incidents involving gunshot wounds.
