Armed gang still on the run after robbing Gants Hill pawnbroker

Police were called at about 3pm this afternoon


The woman and three men who terrified the staff at the pawnbroker during an armed robbery are still on the run.

The gang, armed with pistol and stun gun which they used on the shop manager, raided Maxcroft Securities Ltd, Eastern Avenue Gants Hill.

They made off with cash and jewellery after the robbery on July 5 at 2.45pm.

Fifteen minutes later a Ford Mondeo burst into flames in Brisbane Road, Ilford which police are treating as linked to the robbery.
