Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary which saw more than �35,000 worth of gold stolen.
The haul, which also included a laptop and a mobile phone, was taken from a property in Horns Road, Newbury Park on Wednesday of last week (October 19) between 2.30pm and 4.45pm.
A spokesman said: “When the occupants returned home they found the wooden front door pushed open and the rear doors wide open. An untidy search had taken place with a large amount of their gold taken, estimated value �35,000 plus.”
