Fire cadets were given an hour-long talk on the consequences of knife crime this week.
Anti-Knife Crime UK founder Danny O’Brien visited the Ilford fire station to share his experiences of the horrors of knife crime on Wednesday.
During the talk, Mr O’Brien taught the cadets group how to deal with knife wound to the abdomen.
Bill Dunn, the cadets operational volunteer, said: “Danny will be invited along to the cadet events all across the capital.”
The group of cadets are set to pass out in a special ceremony in July.
