An annual hog roast has raised more than £3,500 for disability charity, Revitalise, on Sunday.

The charity provides respite holiday care for disabled people and their carers and all proceeds will support their Jubilee Lodge centre at Grange Farm, High Road, Chigwell.

The event, which is now in its 11th year, was held at Garnish Hall, in Theydon Garnon, Epping Forest, was attended by 150 guests, who enjoyed live music and stalls selling organic food, homemade cakes, art and books.

Friend of Revitalise Jubilee Lodge, Ros Dover said: “Thanks to the hospitality of Di Collins, we were yet again able to hold our annual hog roast at Garnish Hall and I am delighted to say it was a huge success, raising £3,500. My thanks go to everyone who supported us.”
