A classic Agatha Christie play is set to open at Ilford’s historic Kenneth More Theatre tonight (April 26).

The Unexpected Guest tells the tale of a stranger who seeks refugee in a house while lost in fog, only to find a man shot dead and his wife standing over him with a smoking gun.

But the guest does not believe she killed the man and the woman soon tells him she is innocent.

He decided to help her and the pair pin the blame on another person, bringing to the fore a web of lies, family secrets and chilling motives.

Do you know who the real murderer is?

There’s only one way to solve this mystery!

The show runs until Saturday and tickets are available from £8 at kmtheatre.co.uk/show/the-unexpected-guest

The performance is the second major fundraising production of the The Kenneth More Theatre Club.
