Here a keen photographer captured the moment a cyclist zig-zagged through the autumn leaves in Wanstead Park.

Stuart Moore often visits the park, in Warren Road, Wanstead, to take photos, especially in the autumn and when the bluebells are in bloom.

Stuart, a professional photographer from Walthamstow, explained how this beautiful image was almost taken by accident.

He told the Recorder: “The avenue of trees is always a favourite location.

“I was taking a shot of that and saw the cyclist heading from the right and hesitated to wait for them to get out of the way.”

But as the cyclist meandered across the path Stuart had a moment of inspiration.

“When they were mid-way across, I thought it would make an interesting shot with them framed by the trees, so took it,” he explained.

The shot perfectly captures the beauty of autumn in Wanstead Park.
