A12 collision between Moby Dick and Barley Lane junction causes blocked lane and tailbacks

On the A12 there is moderate traffic between the Moby Dick and the Barley Lane junction.
A collision has occurred in Eastern Avenue, causing a lane to become blocked.
Traffic is slow on the approach and tailing back towards Whalebone Lane North.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 7.53am.
“It appears two vans and two cars [collided].”
The spokesman added it is not yet known if anyone has been injured.
There are minor delays on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) between Bank, Stratford, and Lewisham.

On the London Overground, there are severe delays between Highbury and Islington and Crystal Palace and West Croydon due to a signal failure at Honor Oak Park.
But a good service on all TfL Tube and Overground lines.
