A12 closed at Redbridge Roundabout after driver sustains serious injuries in collision

The A12 is closed between Redbridge Roundabout and the Green Man Roundabout after a driver sustained “nasty injuries” in a collision this morning.

Police were called at 8.44am after a car came off the road and collided with a fence.

A police spokesman said: “The incident looks serious, there were nasty injuries, but there is no case for an arrest.”

Drivers have been warned to expect delays and there are queues at all junctions of Redbridge Roundabout.

Traffic is also backed up to Beehive Lane.
