Man charged with Clayhall Ladbrokes burglary

Police were called in the early hours of Sunday morning after reports of a burglary at the store in Claybury Broadway.

A man has been charged with burglary after a suspected break in at a Ladbrokes store in Clayhall.

Police were called at 4.35am on Sunday, August 12, to reports of a burglary at the Ladbrokes in Claybury Broadway, Ilford.

Officers, including the Met’s Dog Unit, attended and arrested 29-year-old Vasili Vieri of Stradbroke Grove, Ilford at the scene on suspicion of burglary.

He was then taken to an east London police station where he was charged with one count of burglary.

He was remanded to appear at Ilford Magistrates’ court on the same day.
