A 43-year-old man has been arrested after a woman escaped a Newbury Park home in a distressed state this morning, according to police.
Police officers were called to the scene at 7.10am and found the woman, in her 20s, near to a home in Applegarth Drive.
She was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service before being taken to an east London hospital with leg injuries.
The man was arrested at the scene and is being held in custody at Ilford police station.
An investigation by Redbridge CID is ongoing.
