The most oversubscribed primary schools in Redbridge have been revealed in new data.
Department for Education figures shows which Redbridge schools were most oversubscribed and undersubscribed for the 2026/27 academic year.
Al-Noor Voluntary Aided Muslim Primary School had the highest demand in the borough, with 201 families selecting it as their first choice but only 60 places available - leaving a 29.85 per cent success rate.
Wells Primary School was second on the list, with 66 first-choice applications but only 44 offers made.
Seven Kings School was the third most oversubscribed, receiving 179 first-choice applications for 120 places.
Below is a table ranking all primary schools in Redbridge from the most oversubscribed (with negative numbers) to the most undersubscribed.
Other highly sought-after schools in the borough included Churchfields Infants' School, Avanti Court Primary School, Our Lady of Lourdes RC Primary School and Fullwood Primary School.
When applications exceeded the number of available places, schools applied their published admissions criteria to allocate offers.
Common criteria include proximity to the school, whether a sibling already attends, or living within a defined catchment area.
In contrast, some Redbridge schools received fewer applications than places available.
These schools were left with vacancies after the first round of offers went out.
