This year’s Ilford and Redbridge Business Awards have already attracted more than 65 entries.

The awards are organised by Ilford BID to celebrate outstanding businesses, entrepreneurs, charities and community organisations contributing to the success of the borough.

Cyril Bekoe, Ilford BID manager, said: "We are delighted by the early response to this year's awards, with more than 65 businesses already registered and sponsorship support already secured from respected organisations including Mulalley, Mont Rose College, and Cranbrook Lettings Limited.

"The awards provide an excellent opportunity for businesses to raise their profile, celebrate their achievements, and gain recognition from customers, clients, and the wider community. We encourage all eligible businesses to register before the deadline and be part of this fantastic celebration of local success."

Sponsorship has been secured from organisations across the borough. Mulalley and Mont Rose College are platinum sponsors, with Cranbrook Lettings Limited as bronze sponsor.

Mulalley, established in 1972, is one of the UK's leading construction, regeneration, and property services companies, delivering major housing and community infrastructure projects across London and the South East.

Mont Rose College is an Ilford-based higher education provider offering career-focused programmes in business, health, hospitality and digital technologies.

Cranbrook Lettings Limited is an independent estate agency specialising in residential and commercial property.

Businesses have until June 30, 2026 to register for the awards. Public nominations will be open from August 1 to September 30.

Finalists will be announced in November, with winners to be revealed at the awards ceremony on December 3, 2026.

The awards include categories in hospitality, retail, customer service, social value, sustainability, arts and culture, apprenticeships, health and wellbeing, social media and overall business excellence.

Businesses can enter multiple categories to increase their visibility during the campaign and maximise opportunities for public nominations. Ilford BID has also encouraged organisations to get involved through sponsorship of the awards programme.

The awards are designed to highlight the best organisations and individuals helping to make Redbridge a vibrant place to live, work and visit.
