A new sports festival is inspiring young children to get active.
The first ever Redbridge Sport Festival, organised by Mini Athletics in partnership with the Redbridge School Sports Collective, took place at a location in Redbridge and drew young children from across the area for a morning of races, games and athletics-based activities.
Designed to encourage participation, teamwork and a love of movement, the festival saw children take part in a range of fun challenges.
Uphall Primary School emerged as this year’s champions, earning praise for their determination and teamwork throughout the event.

Mini Athletics, organisers of the event, said: "Mini Athletics was delighted to collaborate with Redbridge School Sports Collective to host the inaugural Redbridge Sport Festival.
"The children were truly incredible throughout the festival, demonstrating outstanding energy, enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
"From the first race to the final challenge, every participant embraced the opportunity to get active, support their teammates and give their very best effort."
Gogo the Gazelle, the Mini Athletics mascot, cheered on the children and handed out plenty of high-fives.
Organisers now hope to make the Redbridge Sport Festival an annual event.
They said: "We look forward to seeing which school will be crowned champions next year."
