A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a broad daylight stabbing left a boy in "life-threatening condition".
The arrest came after the attack which occurred at 4.55pm yesterday (June 13) in Ilford Lane, Ilford.
Our sister site London Now reported that emergency services attended the scene and a 15-year-old boy was treated at the scene for stab wounds.
He remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition, according to the police.
The 17-year-old remains in police custody.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "Around 16:55hrs on Saturday, 13 June, officers attended Ilford Lane, Ilford, following reports of a stabbing.
"Police attended with the London Ambulance Service.
"A 15-year-old boy was treated at the scene for stab injuries.
"He was taken to hospital, where he remains in life-threatening condition.
"A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He was taken into police custody, where he remains."
