The moment a teenager threw a 15kg sofa from the top floor of an east London shopping centre was captured in newly-released CCTV footage.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, chucked the seat over a balcony at Westfield Stratford City on March 1 last year.
The incident went viral on social media, with a video captioned "no way bro almost killed someone".
The boy and a friend, 15, were arrested soon after.
The pair were prosecuted and our sister title London Now has reported new footage has emerged - showing just how close they came to hitting unsuspecting shoppers.
Video shows a group of three, who had just walked past the spot where the chair landed, turning around in shock after it crashed to the ground.

Other shoppers, who witnessed the scene, can be seen jumping and freezing in fear after it landed - before walking in a different direction.
Surveillance video from the shopping centre’s second floor also shows the moment the 16-year-old picked up the seat and threw it from the balcony before running away, all while his 15-year-old friend filmed the incident.
