KSI believes Dagenham will get "a load more opportunities" as he plots to grow Dagenham and Redbridge FC and hinted at plans to have his own studio in the area.
KSI, or Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, was announced as a minority shareholder of the Daggers early in March this year.
On March 28, he streamed the club's match against Hampton & Richmond live on his YouTube channel which has 17.7 million subscribers.
The 32-year-old internet sensation believes his social media following will increase the fanbase of the Daggers and, with club growth, benefits to the wider community could follow.
Speaking exclusively to our reporter, he said: “My main unique selling point is awareness and attention and in this world it's hard to get people’s attention because there’s so many things going on.
“I have a large audience and a massive YouTube channel and wherever I go, people follow and with Dagenham and Redbridge the same will happen but it’ll take time.
“I want Dagenham and Redbridge to be a club that everyone knows and everyone is aware of.
“Then it's about slowly bringing more and more bums to seats, bringing lost fans that we used to have back, bringing life back into the club.
"We’ll get more people going to games and more people maybe even wanting to move here [Dagenham]."
As well as making direct improvements to the football club, KSI claimed he is "looking" to have his own studio in the area, taking inspiration from fellow YouTube star Mr Beast.
“I’m looking to have my own studio in east London because I’ve been going ham on content for a very long time and I’ve been influenced by Jimmy (Mr Beast) who has his own studio in North Carolina," he said.
"He’s able to do things and create mind-blowing things and I live and breathe YouTube and with having my own studio I’d be able to create a load of jobs for people out there.
“It feels like most of my life I’ve given people opportunities left, right and centre and I think we’ll be getting a load of opportunities the bigger the club gets."
KSI also confirmed that a documentary series is being made to provide insight into the running of the club and episodes will be uploaded to his YouTube channel this summer.
He hopes that eyes are directed towards the club not only on a national scale, but on a global one too.
“You don’t just become a fan of Dagenham and Redbridge FC because you’ve watched a game. You have to follow them and follow the story and that’s why the documentary will help," he said.
“It will get you invested in the players and the team and the background staff etcetera.
“That is what makes you care and I know it’ll be a huge help especially because we’ll be dubbing it in different languages - Spanish, French, you name it, we’ve dubbed it.
“It’ll be cool to have a French guy who knows nothing about non-league teams in England becoming a fan and knowing about Dagenham and Redbridge and maybe wanting to travel to go see a game."
When asked about comparisons being made to Wrexham AFC who were taken over by Hollywood names Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in 2021, KSI said the decision makers at Dagenham and Redbridge FC will "do things our own way".
He added: "Every club is different.
"What worked for Wrexham won’t always work for us so I’m focussed on what I’m good at and making sure that works and helping wherever I can with any other ideas.
“I think what separates us from everyone else is the fact the club has me because I am a content machine and my connections are far and wide and I can bring all types of people to Dagenham and Redbridge."
