Photos have captured the finishing touches being added to the new Gallows Corner flyover as it approaches completion.
Contractors are continuing to waterproof and resurface the Gallows Corner flyover, with drone images taken on Saturday (March 14) showing these works taking place.
It has now been 266 days since the major junction closed.
Transport for London (TfL) previously gave an expected completion timeframe of spring 2026, later narrowing this down to the end of April.
However, a specific reopening date is yet to be confirmed.
In its February newsletter update, TfL detailed which works still need to be completed at the bridge, roundabout and surrounding roads, including efforts to replace the damaged eastern support structure.
According to the newsletter, concrete has now been poured for this purpose, with final works to be completed shortly.
The installation of crash barriers along the A127 and A12 is also underway - as seen in the drone photos - alongside pedestrian crossing and street lighting works.
Upcoming works include further concrete pours on the flyover and approach ramps, continued waterproofing and road surfacing, and drainage installation.
The newsletter also reveals that Essex & Suffolk Water has now completed its two "under pressure" connections of pipework into the existing water main.
Elements to ensure the pipeline is reliable and resilient are still to come, such as installing large blocks to ensure the pipe's stability, and testing and commissioning the pipe.
