Dramatic photos show the moment a sword-wielding man was arrested by police in Hainault. 

The pictures follow a major incident this morning (April 30) that saw five people taken to hospital. 

One of the victims, a 14-year-old boy, has died from his injuries in hospital after being stabbed.

The footage of the arrest was captured on a doorbell system. 

Ch Supt Stuart Bell confirmed today that his officers resorted to tasering the man before they were able to arrest him safely.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that a 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in hospital. 

Thurlow Gardens and surrounding roads, including New North Road, remain affected and forensics are working at the scene.
