A male has been stabbed in Ilford town centre, with London's Air Ambulance scrambled to the scene.
Police were called at 2.50pm today (November 22) to reports of a male stabbed in Clements Road, Ilford.
The AA had reported nearby High Road in Ilford was partly blocked both ways around Holstock Road this afternoon due to a "police incident."
Officers and London's Air Ambulance attended, police said, and the victim was taken to an east London hospital.

"We await an update on his condition," the force added.
There have been no arrests, but enquiries continue.
