A major high street chain has opened a new store in Ilford town centre after a relocation.
A new TK Maxx store opened in High Road, Ilford yesterday (November 9) after moving from its previous location in the Exchange Shopping Centre.
The new store is expected to create around 40 new jobs for the area.
Employees at the original location have all been offered a transfer opportunity to the new shop.
A spokesperson for TK Maxx said: “We are thrilled to open a brand new TK Maxx store in Ilford, as we know how much local shoppers love to shop high-brand fashion, accessories, and more, all at great prices.
“We want to give our valued Ilford treasure seekers the best shopping experience possible, and we’re confident they will enjoy our new bright and beautiful store."
The store measures a huge 28,320 sq ft, housing fashion, accessories, beauty and homeware.
