Police have warned residents in the borough about a dangerous horse painkiller that was stolen this week.
Approximately 30 packets of the powered painkiller were in a Vauxhall Corsa which was taken from Ray Lodge Road in Woodford Green between the hours of 11.40pm on Tuesday and 11am on Wednesday.
A police spokesman said: “The 56-year-old car owner uses the product on horses and has told officers that if taken by humans, it could be lethal.”
