A teenage boy has died after being hit by a train at Seven Kings station last night.
The death of the 19-year-old is being treated as “non suspicious” by the British Transport Police (BTP).
BTP officers, together with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and members of the Metropolitan Police, were called to the station at 11.12pm.
The teenager, believed to be from the area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The train involved was the 10.50pm service from Liverpool Street to Shenfield.
The line was handed back to Network Rail at 12.25am this morning.
