A 40-year-old man was cut out of a car and taken to hospital “as a priority” after a road accident yesterday.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision in Ley Street, Ilford at about 6.15pm.
A crew from Ilford Fire Station attended the scene and the road was closed while the man was removed.
He was taken to Queens Hospital, Romford.
A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision and sent three crews.
“Staff treated one patient, a 40-year-old man, who was put on a spinal board and taken to Queens Hospital as a priority.”
