West Hatch High School has two reasons to celebrate today as its students achieved a 99 percent pass rate as well as it being the 25th anniversary of the sixth form reopening.
About 73 percent of the students gained an A*-C grade in their A-levels and all of the students studying vocational courses, at the school in high Road, Chigwell, passed.
Headteacher Frances Howarth said: “We are very proud of what our students have achieved, especially those who found their studies hard. Congratulations to them all and their teachers”.
Top performing students include Ryan Wallace who will be going to stuffy history at LSE and Paree Banu with three As who will be studying economics at Birmingham University.
