Two men have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of 29-year-old Thomas Cudjoe in Ilford.
A 22-year-old and a 24-year-old were both arrested yesterday.
Mr Cudjoe died of multiple stab wounds to the chest and legs after being attacked near the forecourt of the Shell petrol station in Ley Street, Ilford at 3.15am on Saturday.
The arrested men are being held at separate east London police stations.
Mr Cudjoe, of Richmond Road, Ilford was previously a student at Loxford School of Science and Technology, Loxford Lane, Ilford, and the University of East London.
