Shoppers in South Woodford have voted to donate money to help patient care at Saint Francis Hospice in Havering-atte-Bower.
Customers at the Waitrose store in High Road handed over tokens to nominate the hospice for a £540 gift.
The store has £1,000 each month to share with three good causes, which receive a proportion of the money depending on how many votes they get.
Hospice fundraiser Rochelle Hodds said: “A big thank you to the staff and customers.”
The hospice provides medical care and counselling to people affected by cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
