Youngsters at a Woodford Green nursery got busy and organised not one, but two events to help raise much-needed funds for a children’s hospice.
Pupils at St Aubyns Nursery, Bunces Lane, managed to raise an impressive £750 for Haven House, based in High Road, Woodford Green, by holding a cake sale and fun day.
Karen Storrs, head of the nursery, said: “We are delighted that we are able to support such a brilliant local charity, especially in its tenth birthday year and of course our children loved meeting the hospice’s mascot, Henry the Hound.”
