A multiple sclerosis sufferer is joining a charity radio marathon on Saturday to raise money for a centre in Chadwell Heath.
The Jumbo Sound, which broadcasts to Goodmayes Hospital in Barley Lane, is putting on 12 hours of shows from 10am to 10pm.
Cllr Tania Solomon, the deputy mayor of Redbridge, will open the broadcast and proceeds will go towards the Marjorie Collins Centre in Chadwell Heath, which provides therapies, advice and events for sufferers and carers.
Kas Aston, who has lived with MS for 18 years, is joining the marathon to raise awareness of the disease.
