Shoppers can use their spare change to benefit local charities as well as international causes in the run-up to Christmas.
The Rotary Club of Redbridge is holding regular collections for Hainault charity Hopes and Dreams, Redbridge Shelter, Macmillan Cancer Support and Frenford Clubs.
They are also sending money to the disaster-stricken Philippines for shelter and clean water and towards a project to end polio around the world.
The collections will be at Goodmayes Tesco, High Road, on Friday, and at The Exchange Ilford, High Road, on December 14, 15, 21 and 22.
Rotarian Graham Carter said: “What makes us happy is to see the money dropped into our buckets, and the good causes we can assist with this money and our time.”
