More than 200 people attended an Autism Sunday church service to raise awareness for the condition.
The Autism Sunday Service at All Saint’s Church, Woodford Wells, Woodford Green, led by Reverend Paul Harcourt, was attended by the Mayor of Redbridge Cllr Felicity Banks, Council Leader Keith Prince and Lee Scott MP
Co-founders and parents Ivan and Charika Corea, whose son Charin Corea is on the autism spectrum, came up with the idea for the campaign after their son was diagnosed with the condition in 1998.
The clergy and the music group wore autism awareness ribbons in support of 67 million people with autism around the world.
