Clayhall’s results were split, with two seats for the Conservatives and one for Labour.
Tory candidates Robert Cole and Alan Weinberg received 2,227 and 2,138 votes respectively, while Labour’s Gurdial Bhamra polled 2,110.
Newcomer Nathan Pathmanathan, running for the Conservatives, was not far behind with 2,038.
