An Ilford man has been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm following an incident in which two police officers were injured.
Marcus Robinson, 33, from Ilford, is appearing at Bristol Magistrates’ Court this morning following the incident in Bishopston in Bristol on Monday afternoon.
Avon and Somerset Police said Robinson had been charged with aggravated vehicle taking, attempted GBH, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and driving with no insurance.
A 35-year-old man from Bradley Stoke, who was travelling as a passenger in the car and was arrested at the scene, has been bailed.
