The Forest Academy has got its best ever A-level results, with 73 per cent getting A* to C grades.
Students at the school, in Harbourer Road, Hainault, also achieved a 97pc pass rate.
Ed MacLeod, director of sixth form, said: “We are delighted to announce that our Year 13 students have achieved the best ever A-level results in the school’s history.
“We are also proud that more than ever before will be going to university, many of whom will be taking up places at Russell Group universities too.”
AS-level students at The Forest Academy also set records for A* to C grades and the overall pass rate.
Mr MacLeod added: “Well done to students and staff for all of their efforts.”
Dean Taylor, assistant headteacher, said: “We are really, really pleased.”
