Children and parents at in Newbury Park nursery celebrated the Royal wedding by dressing to impress for a cultural fashion show party.
Thirty five children and their families who go to RightStar Daycare, in Horns Road, wore their national clothing to celebrate ethnic diversity last Thursday, May 17.
Children aged six months to five years showcased their colourful outfits whilst sampling traditional dishes and cakes eaten during special occasions.
Operations manager, Karen White, 55, from Barkingside, shared her thoughts of the event, saying: “It was really successful and a nice community event.”
Karen also said that parents loved attending the themed party and many had planned to watch the royal wedding on TV on Saturday.
Parents were also encouraged to bring photos of the day they got married and share with the everyone as part of a huge display.
Nursery deputy, Rasma Begum, said: “All of the children and families had a great time. They really enjoyed it.”
