Buddy Holly and the Cricketers

Leading Buddy Holly tribute act comes to the Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford.

TURN back the clock to the late 1950s as rock ‘n’ roll comes to the Kenneth More Theatre this weekend

Buddy Holly and the Cricketers have, for 17 years, delighted audiences across the globe from Cardiff to California and Bristol to Bangkok!

On Sunday, they will have the Kenneth More Theatre audience singing along to the music and dancing in the aisles.

They recreate the timeless hits of Buddy Holly, the bespectacled rock ‘n’ roll pioneer who was killed in a plane crash at the height of his fame in 1959.

Featuring some of the finest and talented actor-musicians in the business, whose combined West End credits include Buddy, Lennon, Return to The Forbidden Planet, Jailhouse Rock and Sunday In The Park With George, Buddy Holly and the Cricketers were recently endorsed as Britain’s most popular Buddy Holly tribute act when they guest-starred on BBC One’s Saturday night live programme, The One and Only.

They will be performing That’ll Be The Day, Peggy Sue, It Doesn’t Matter Anymore, Raining In My Heart, Oh Boy! and many, many more.

The show starts at 7.30pm, tickets £13.50.
