Children and adults alike can pack their trunks and enjoy an afternoon at the theatre as The Elephant Bridesmaid comes to Ilford on Saturday.
Written especially for parents to enjoy with their young ones, the musical will feature games, magic and sing-a-long numbers at the Kenneth Moore Theatre, in Oakfield Road.
Based on a story from the best-selling book How The Koala Learn To Hug and Other Australian Fairytales, the show opens with Natascha, a teenage witch, with a messy room and a pressing dielmma.
She’s going to be a bridesmaid but doesn’t have a dress to wear.
Luckily, her father is on hand with a story which transports them to an Australian jungle and follows Nellie as she searches for a dress big enough ahead of becoming the first ever elephant bridesmaid.
Youngsters can make the production that little bit more memorable by dressing in their fanciest clothes to take part in a fashion show live on stage.
The show begins at 2.30pm, with tickets £10 for adults and £8 for children.
