Get ready for a history lesson with plenty of excitement as the world premiere of Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain comes to town.

The one-hour show, based on the best-selling books, will take audiences on a raucous journey of life in Britain, from the time of Roman rule to the terrible Tudors, slimy Stuarts, gorgeous Georgians and vile Victorians, right up to the frightful First World War.
Important questions will be answered during the production at the Garrick Theatre, including whether it was easier to lose your heart or your head to Henry VIII.
Audiences will also find out how to impress guests with roast dormouse, take a peek inside Georgian Crime School and find out what a baby farmer did.
Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain is written by Terry Deary, Neal Foster and Ciaran McConville.
Deary is the creator of Horrible Histories, and is the 10th most-borrowed author in British libraries.
Foster is actor/manager of The Birmingham Stage Company, the resident company of The Old Rep Theatre in Birmingham, which has been touring Horrible Histories’ productions for five years across the UK and beyond.
Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain is suitable for ages six and above and runs at the Garrick Theatre, Charing Cross Road, from Tuesday, February 14.
Tickets cost £14.50, £12.50 and £10 from the box office on 0844 482 9673. Visit www.barmybritainlive.com for more information.
